If you know a SUNY New Paltz alum and/or a member of the faculty who meets the criteria for one of the following awards, please fill out and submit a nomination form on their behalf. This is your chance to recognize someone you know, for their outstanding achievements and success. Complete the online application and mail or e-mail same to the address listed at the bottom of the application. The Alumnus/a of the Year Award is presented to a graduate of SUNY New Paltz with a significant professional achievement. The Distinguished Teacher or Staff Award is presented to a faculty or staff member of SUNY New Paltz whose singular accomplishments exceed normal expectations in a chosen field. The Distinguished Alumni Service Award is presented to a graduate of SUNY New Paltz who has given meritorious and outstanding service to the SUNY New Paltz Alumni Association and/or SUNY New Paltz. The Recent Graduate Achievement Award is presented to an alumnus/a of SUNY New Paltz who has graduated within the last 10 years; who has exhibited professional accomplishments which exceed normal expectations in a chosen occupation. The Friend of the Alumni Association Award is presented to an individual for promoting community and supporting the goals of the SUNY New Paltz Alumni Association and the College.
