AlumniDent® Comprehensive Group Dental

Protect yourself from the rising cost of dental care - take advantage of your Alumni Associaiton's buying power to get economical, comprehensive dental insurance for yourself and your family. Alumni of State University of New York at New Paltz and their spouses who are under age 60 are eligible for AlumniDent. Eligible dependents include spouses and dependent children typically under age 19, or age 25 if a full-time student.

NOTE: AlumniDent is available in all states except: AK, OR.

Open enrollment
An open enrollment period is available once each year for a limited time: from November 1 thru December 31. Coverage becomes effective January 1 of each year. When you become insured, you will be sent a Certificate of Insurance summarizing the provisions of the plan under which you are insured.

Use any dentist
You may continue going to your current provider, or choose any other dentist you’d like. The AlumniDent plan pays you a benefit for each covered service you receive. You also decide whether you want benefits paid directly to your dentist, or reimbursed to you.
